There’s been a bottle of Bailey’s Irish Cream around this house for about 22 years, which was given to my parents as a wedding gift. Since they can’t stand baileys, and it was a never-opened bottle, I figured I would liberate it myself.

As it turns out, bailey’s does apparently go bad. I opened it up, cracking the seal as it opens, and look inside. I turn to my mom and go “This is definitely bad.” as I demonstrate by turning the opened bottle upside down and shaking it. Nothing came out.

Bailey’s solidifies after 22 years. The smell was the not-so-funny part of it.
